About Intersect

Where careful numbers
meet honest guidance

Intersect Professional Services was built on the idea that small business owners deserve to actually understand their own finances — not just receive a spreadsheet and hope for the best.

Proudly Indigenous-owned

An Indigenous-owned firm, built on trust

Intersect Professional Services is proudly Indigenous-owned, and that ownership shapes how we work: directly, honestly, and with a genuine stake in the small businesses and communities we serve.

When you work with Intersect, you're supporting Indigenous entrepreneurship and keeping that work rooted close to home. We take that seriously, and we're glad to talk about it directly if you have questions.

Our story

Built around one idea

"Intersect" reflects where we sit: at the point where careful bookkeeping meets plain-spoken advice. Two things a lot of firms treat as separate — we treat as the same job.

We started Intersect because too many small business owners were getting one or the other: either accurate books they couldn't interpret, or advice that wasn't backed by real, current numbers. We built a firm that does both, every month, for every client.

Today we handle bookkeeping, payroll, tax filing, and advisory work for small businesses across Ontario — treating every account with the same level of care, whether it's a two-person shop or a growing team.

What we stand for

The values behind
every engagement

Honesty over comfort

If your numbers tell a hard story, we'll tell it to you plainly — you can only fix what you can actually see.

Confidentiality, always

Your financial information is treated with the same care we'd want for our own. Secure records, no shortcuts.

Guidance, not just data entry

Bookkeeping should inform decisions, not just satisfy the CRA. We flag what matters as we see it.

One relationship, not a rotation

You'll work with the same person month over month, not a different name every time you call.
